New utility model
We are thrilled to announce that Weco Windows has been granted a new utility model! (#2022330602)
This advancement represents a complete game changer for minimalistic, high-performance and sustainable windows: no more screws! Our new wooden frame uses pressure instead to attach itself to the wall, which results in an extremely precise set-up that reduces thermal bridges and increases energetic and acoustic performance.

BUILD’S ARCHITECTURE AWARDS 2020
Award from Build's architecture awards 2020 to Weco Windowns - Spain. Developed by a team of Spanish architects, this re-envisioning of the traditional wood window features a sash that combines glass and hardware in a single assembly, without a frame. The self-supporting glass becomes a sheer, transparent plane, maximizing light and transparency. Wall openings are framed in wood, the glazing fitting hermetically over the frame using advanced technology in hardware and sealants. Triple gaskets assure maximum thermal and acoustical performance. The double- or triple-glazed window is available in fixed, tilt-and-turn, sliding, and hinged versions. The sliding window allows unbroken openings up to 19 ½ feet long. The interior face of the unit is finished in baked enamel in black, white, or any RAL color.

The ceremony at the Doppelkegel BMW Welt“ was on 4 October in Munich. Naturally, we went personally to pick up this award with such prestige. We enjoyed the ceremony and the city a lot. And it is clear to us that we have to work even harder to meet this distinction.
